6 organic/biodynamic/natural wines (One will have bubbles!) made in France by passionate, creative and talented French producers. We’ll trace each grape to its French region to discover how where it’s made (terroir) influences how a wine smells, tastes and feels. We’ll talk about what makes a wine “natural” (I prefer “low intervention”) and why these wines often taste a little funky (in a good way).

Every Great Wine Has a Story

We’ll talk about who made the wines and why growing organic grapes is important to them. You’ll also learn how to objectively evaluate each one (natural wines have a slightly different vocab) so that you leave knowing what you like, what you don’t and how to communicate your preferences the next time you order wine during your trip and back home. 6 wines + savory snacks pairing.

I’m an American sommeliere who specializes in French Wines. Let’s talk wine, France, food and travel while we taste our way through some super cool wines such as: Chenin Blanc (Loire), Riesling (Alsace), Chardonnay (Beaujolais or Jura), Jacquere (Savoie), Pinot Noir (Bourgogne, Alsace or Jura), Gamay (Beaujolais) Syrah or Grenache (Rhone), Cabernet Franc (Loire or Bordeaux) and other delicious, lesser known treasures.
